APSET 2021 : Andhra Pradesh State-State Eligibility Test (AP-SET-2021) is a State Level Entrance Test which is regulated by Andhra University, Vissakhapatnam On Behalf of Andhra Pradesh State. The Eligibility Test Conducted for the Recruitment of Assistant Professors/Lectures at Degree Colleges and Universities in AP State, As per rules and regulations of the Universities/State Governments. Eligible Candidates who wish to apply for APSET 2021 may submit their applications through online mode at official website. The registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (for General Category), Rs. 800/- (for B.C. category) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PH/VH category) be paid through payment gateway (Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking). TSSET examination will be conducted in General Studies & 29 subjects at regional centers of Spread over the across the Andhra Pradesh State. Medium of Question Paper : The question paper - I which is common for all candidates appearing APSET will bebilingual (English and Telugu). Paper – II for the following subjects a) Commerce b) Economics c) Education d) History e) political Science f) Public administration g) Sociology and h) Social work will be bilingual (English and Telugu). All the remaining papers are in English only.

Scheme And Date Of Test : i) The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in 3 Hours of duration in one session as under :

Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type questions. Each question will carry 2 marks.

Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper - II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
There is no negative marking.
