About NEET 2017 Exam 


NEET 2017(National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is a national level Entrance test for getting admission to MBBS/BDS courses in all government and private Institutions / Colleges and 15% All India quota seats for all India quota.The AIPMT exam was replaced by NEET according to the union government laws.So the candidate of any state,must appear the NEET exam if desires the MBBS /BDS in their respective states.Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE),New Delhi is the conducting authority of NEET 2017.The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based Test) for 160 questions from Physics,Chemistry & Biology subjects at 10+2 level.

The NEET Exam Admit card The CBSE will provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards of NEET – II on the Board’s website along with a format for affixing of Postcard size photograph. Candidates are required to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post.The Admit Card will bear the candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category,Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination centre allotted. The candidate should carefully examine the Admit Card downloaded by him/her for all the entries made therein.

Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein. Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition till admission in Medical/Dental Colleges is over.

Instructions to The Candidates during the  NEET 2017 Examination

candidate shall be allowed to enter in the examination centre after 09.30 a.m. Therefore, kindly ensure that candidates must leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the centre and weather conditions, etc.

Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.

The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card shall not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

(c) The Candidate should report with downloaded admit card and with proforma which is an attachment of Admit Card with Post Card Size Photograph duly affixed on it, at the allotted Examination Centre.

(d) During the examination time, the invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of each candidate. The invigilator will also put his/her signatures in the place provided in the Answer Sheet on SIDE-1.

A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Test from a seat or room other than the allotted one to him/her, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

A candidate who comes after 09.30 am shall not be permitted to enter in the examination centre.

Candidates are not allowed to carry any material except the Admit Card and photographs inside the Examination Hall.

Candidates are not allowed to bring any barred item or any item which could be used in unfair means.

Possession of any such article with the candidates inside the centre premises will attract the penalties of unfair practices.

Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the barred items (Chapter-11) to the
venue of the examination as arrangement for safe keeping will not be made and candidates found in possession of these items will not be allowed entry in the examination centre.



No candidate will leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/Hall until the Test concludes as per schedule.
Candidates should not leave the Room/Hall without handing over their Answer Sheets to the invigilator on duty.

Water Bottles, Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks etc. are not allowed to be taken by the candidates into the examination centre.

The Test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.

Before the start of test, some important instructions will be communicated to the candidates by the invigilator for strict compliance by the candidates.

 A signal will be given at the beginning of the examination and at half-time. A signal will also be given before the closing time when the candidate must stop marking the responses.

The candidate must sign twice on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place, first time immediately after the commencement of examination and second time while handing over the Answer Sheet to the invigilator. The candidates are also required to put their Finger Impressions in the space provided on the Attendance Sheet.

The candidate will check and ensure that the Test-Booklet contain as many number of pages as are written on the top of the cover page.

For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of test for any reason, re-test shall not be held by the Board under any circumstances.
